Photos of the Preservation work the 125th Regimental Association has done of behalf of Civil War sites and artifacts.

Besides reenacting and providing educational programs the 125th NY is dedicated to preserving Civil War sites throughout the Capital District and around the country. In the past several years the 125th has given thousands of dollars to the Civil War Preservation Trust. It has also adopted the 125th Regimental monument at Gettysburg National Park, paid for the restoration of the survivng 125th regiments Flags that belong to the NYS Military Museum and worked to restore and rededicate Civil War veteran's gravesite through out the Capital District.

The 125th at the rededication of the Patrick Fitzpatrick grave in Coxsackie NY.  the rededication was held by his descendents to honor him.  Mr. Fitzpatrick was a member of the 69th NY.  One of the "Irish Brigade" regiments in the Army of the Potomac.
